The design for the HIGH5 project is the result of careful consultation with the local schools to provide a play area for 8-13 year olds. This craetes a challenging, energetic and fun space as an extension to an existing play area. The design includes an element of natural and passive play whilst the proprietary equipment provides excitement at a measured and acceptable level of risk. The £57K project is funded from the government's Playbuilder Projects, The Youth Opportunities Fund, and Dorset County Council's Youth Service.

The finished play area was officially opened by the Mayor of Christchurch.
