This project forms a landscape and visual impact assessment in support of a planning application for a proposed housing development on a sensitive location on the northern edge of High Wycombe. The site is borders the Chilterns AONB and is adjacent to the National Trust property of Hughenden Manor which is also in the Metropolitan Green Belt. A number of trees on the site are protected by Tree Preservation Orders.

Thorough analysis and successful negotiations with the local planning authority has gained a planning approval for a small group of houses whilst retaining and preserving existing trees and providing new planting to enhance and add value to the new development and the surrouinding environment.
