A one hectare garden with far reaching views over the surrounding Somerset countryside. The former garden consisted predominantly of open grass areas and a hard surfaced tennis court.

The brief required the design to deflect prominent views of the tennis court but retain selected long distance country views. The design forms a structured layout of semi formal Italianate garden rooms divided by yew hedging and trelliswork to form a rose garden, a central croquet lawn, pond and orchard area and a tea house garden area.
