An environmental enhancement of a popular public waterside space within the Lymington Conservation Area. Controlled traffic and car parking areas, and pedestrian quayside spaces with enhanced seating arrangements provide a revitalised environment. The works also include new public facilities, flood defences and repairs to the existing quay wall. The use of robust, natural materials ensures an appropriate, sympathetic and sustainable solution. The Landscape Practice contributed conceptual approach and masterplanning for public consultation, detailed design and construction administration.
